Portraits of A Bald Dog.

Free at last: Bilbo relieved after losing his bulky fur coat.

Just wanted to share Bilbo’s new look. It’s not exactly pretty or indeed handsome but it’s definitely more functional. That said, losing the fluffy coat has exposed each and every little bulge and what Miss unkindly refers to as his “blubber”.

After having such a fluffy dog, I am intrigued by the new geometric patterns in his new coat.

Thank you. He’s now also a happy dog after getting rid of that stinking hot and matted coat and now not needing a brush either!!

Hey, Bilbo is looking good! I admit to trepidation when I heard of the impending scalping but it turned out he’s quite the handsome pupperoni with his new ‘do. It must feel wonderful to enjoy cool breezes or a cold tile floor. His face is much happier than that scary pre-haircut shot and if, perhaps, there was a bit of pudge under the fur he can now move much quicker and will work it off in no time at all. Way to go, Big B!

Thanks, Tom. He is still getting around with a spring in his step. Pure relief and this heat is never ending. That is, until the cold sets in. We all know human nature. Can’t get no…satisfaction!! xx Rowena

Monika, I obviously liked them as well. I really like cow print or zebra stripes on fabric and have a cow patch bag and his patches reminded me of that.
I’ve always loved his fluffy fur but the short spiky version is just asking for a massage and a rub.
