Walking Through The Mist

Each and every day starts out as a blank canvas and you never know what it is going to bring.

Yesterday, our town was covered in a very thick blanket of fog, clouds which have fallen to the ground and it was so atmospheric.

Such a gift!

I am working on the story of my walk but there is definitely fiction potential there. The whole scene looks rather post-Apocalypse.You almost expect the Grim reaper to appear.

Thanks, Monika. I think it’s one of the better photos I’ve taken. I’m going to post a few more taken yesterday as individuals and I’m working on a story about the walk. I must admit I feel a bit guilty because I didn’t take the dogs but they’re not allowed at that part o the beach and there’s currently a surf carnival on so even though they like to make me feel guilty, not really my choice.
Speaking of guilt, I’m eating toast for lunch with Bilbo’s chin on my knee and there is this soft, mournful plea. He knows I don’t eat my crusts and as my husband says to him: “she’s trained you well!”
Hope you’ve been having a great week!

Thank you very much, Derrick. For me, photography is very much like fishing. You’re always after the big one and I was really thrilled with what I caught yesterday xx Rowena
